"My Dawlance fridge malfunctioned at the start of the month of Ramazan. I launch a complaint against it. One of the reps visited and informed me that the rubber seal has leaked and needs to be changed, which we agreed and paid whatever they charged. However the fridge could never give the required performance even after the part replacement. After complaining again and again, another rep visited but he was unable to resolve the problem rather as per him there is no issue however the food always rots in one day. Today I observed that the lower door of the fridge had been fixed at a tilt angle and there was a large gap on the upper side of theb lower door. Strange.. if a technician is a company rep how can he fix a door so irresponsibly and unable to satisfy the customer. I don’t know what to do now! If I called some local technician, I would have had my fridge working in one day and here DAWLANCE company is unable or don’t want to rectify a problem for which I have already paid. Very unfortunate and frustrating situation!"

"No doubt, Dawlance offers a wide range of products. However, their after sales service is not good at all. I had a bitter experience with them recently. I purchased a Dawlance Automatic Washing Machine model 1600-A form their sales point at Rashid Minhas road. After about 18 months, it started giving off some noise. I thought that its main shaft or bearings needed some greasing. In order to save from any serious damage, I sent the machine for an overhaul to Dawlance Service Centre in Kehkashan Society. The men asked me to pay the due amount in advance, otherwise they would not proceed. So I paid them half the amount. They checked the machine and said that its gear-box would have to be repaired. I told them that the machine was okay in all respects but they insisted that the gear box needed extensive repairs. Anyways, they released the machines after four weeks. BUT INSTEAD OF OVERHAULING, THEY DAMAGED THE MACHINE. It now runs at such a slow speed that even the detergent does not dissolve properly. Dawlance is a big national brand and one does not expect such poor after sales service from them. It is advisable that instead of spending huge amounts on advertising and branding they should invest in the training of their product support staff."

"I like H-Zone refrigerators by Dawlance. They consume minimum electricity and keep things frozen even during long bouts of electric failures."
