"Uzma Cables providing cable network services in the Lines Area, Karachi is informing us that they have still not received orders from PEMRA to re-open GEO News. Mr. Iqbal owner of Uzma Cable is saying to us that he is under Army orders to not open GEO News. PEMRA RGM Mr. Skindar Ali Shah is informing us that they have already instructed all cable operators to re-open GEO News. Why are these people hiding behind the Pakistan Army to shut down GEO News. Do they have no shame. What is PEMRA's role in this situation especially when the Supreme Court of Pakistan has clarified that the cable operators cannot illegally shut down any channels. Shame on these people. They want to create a FITNA in this country like they created when the murdered Hazrat Usman and placed the blame on Hazart Ali's son. We need to see through them and take strict actions against them. PEMRA has a clear role over here and must act now!"
