SGS Electrical Company was established in 1990 by Mr. Mian Ghulam Muhayuddin Ahmed in Gujrat. The Company started manufacturing electric fans under the brand name of Khurshid Fans with a mission of becoming Pakistan's number one electrical appliances manufacturing company.

With the ever increasing energy costs around the world, SGS Electrical was the first fans manufacturing company in Pakistan which saw the imminent requirement of energy efficient electrical appliances. With a commitment towrads offering state of the art products to domestic as well as export clients, Khurshid Fans was the first to introduce AC-DC Inverter Fans in the market. These energy saving fans were an instant hit with the consumers as they provided a significant reduction in their electricty bills. Today, over 90% of our products are energy efficient and manufactured in-house. We work towards creating harmony between manufacturing output and efficiencies that deliver social, economic and environmental sustainability.

Khurshid Fans was also one of the first fans manufacturing company in Pakistan to get certified for ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Enviornment Management System. All products manufactured under the brand name of Khurshid Fans are produced using electrical steel sheet which ensures low current losses, with 99.9% pure copper winding and high-grade insulating material for the armature's long life. This uncompromising attitude towards quality products has made Khurshid Fans the number one choice of not only the domestic consumers but also is being widely exported to Saudi Arabia, South Africa and the Gulf countries.
