PERAC Research & Development Foundation – PRD, is a Karachi based analytical and testing laboratory established in the year 1990. PRD was created to enhance the capacity of the industrial sector through research and development and process design activities. Another objective of the Laboratory is to find ways of developing value added products from industrial waste and by-products of refineries and process industry. PRD offers extensive environmental testing services such as testing of effluents and industrial waste, all types of water, mud, sludge, moisture, humidity, smoke and noise pollution, gaseous emissions, particulates and luminosity. PRD also offers testing of POL products, gases and chemicals. All lab testing procedures are done as per ASTM, IP, UOP, APHA, ISO and other applicable international testing standards. PRD also offers hands on training on laboratory setup, maintenance and calibration of lab instruments such as viscometer, hygrometer and thermometer. Advance training on High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, Distillation of Crude Petroleum and Environmental Monitoring is also provided.
