Advocate Shaheen is a member of Pakistan Bar Council and has held several key posts during his illustrious carrier spanning over three decades such as Founder Vice Chairman Islamabad Bar Council, Chairman Legal Education Committee – PBC, Member Enrollment Committee – PBC and Chairman Appeals Committee for ICT – PBC. Advocate Shaheen has key expertise in human rights law, criminal litigation, services and employment law, election petitions and bail petitions. Advocate Shaheen has done ground breaking work in the standardization of legal education in Pakistan. Under his Chairmanship of the Legal Education Committee, Pakistan Bar Council took a number of steps to regulate legal education such as introduction of a Law Admission Test, banning of substandard private law colleges and the introduction of a professional 5-years law degree program. Shaheen Law Chamber Islamabad was established by Advocate Shaheen in the year 1998 where he is the senior founding partner.
