Lucky Core Industries Limited , formerly ICI Pakistan Limited, operates as an independent business unit within the Younus Brothers Group – YBG, one of the largest business conglomerates of Pakistan with interests in Textiles, Cement, Energy, Health and Chemicals.

In the year 2012 YBG acquired a 75.8% stake in ICI Pakistan Limited from AkzoNobel. In the year 2016 YBG acquired 100% stake in Cirin Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Limited. In the year 2017 YBG completed acquisition of certain assets of Wyeth Pakistan Limited and Pfizer Pakistan Limited. After the successful amalgamation of all these assets, in the year 2022 the Company changed its name to Lucky Core Industries Limited.

In the year 2017, the Company entered into a joint venture to localize the manufacturing of nutritional products through Nutrico Moringa (Pvt) Limited. In the year 2022 NutriCo Pakistan (Pvt) Limited was merged into Nutrico Moringa (Pvt) Limited.
