"I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the treatment my family member received at Ahmed Medical Hospital. My recent experience has left me deeply concerned about the way patients are treated, as it seems the hospital is more focused on financial gain rather than providing proper care to those in need. When we visited the hospital, the first thing required was to deposit a fee for various tests. Despite my [family member/friend/self] being in significant pain, we were asked to pay for tests that did not seem necessary at the time. It took over two hours for the tests to be conducted, during which time the pain continued, and there was no apparent urgency from the medical staff to address the immediate discomfort. It appears that the hospital is treating patients like bank customers, where the priority is on collecting money rather than offering timely and appropriate medical care. This experience was disappointing, and I believe it goes against the fundamental principles of healthcare, where patient well-being should always come first. I urge the hospital management to reconsider its approach to patient care and to ensure that medical decisions are based on necessity and the patient's condition, rather than financial considerations. I hope this matter will be taken seriously and that steps will be taken to improve the quality of care provided at your hospital."

"I was recently hospitalized at Ahmad Medical Complex for high blood pressure and asthma problem. The doctor, Mr. Saif-ur-Rehman, is a good physician, professionally competent. The service delivery needs to be improved because being a private hospital, patients expect for efficient service delivery as they pay for it. I quote here one example for consideration by the management. I was advised Chest X-ray, PNS. X-ray was done immediately when advised but the film and report took two days. Similary ECG advised in the evening was done next day at 12:30 PM where as there was mis-management in getting echo done. The nursing staff did not manage, the nursing staff on duty said to me that I will be called for echo. The next day when nothing was done till 8 PM I contacted cardiologist myself and it was found that no echo requisition is sent to the Cardiology deptt. These things can be improved with stricter administrative controls and would result in much appreciation from your patients."

"My experience at Ahmad Medical Complex was very bad. My wife was operated, here and I became father of a boy. The doctor who operated on my wife also wounded my new born baby. They had to stitch his wounds but they never told us about it only for us to discover by ourselves later on. Also in case of delivery complications they don't have any facilities to handle the matter properly."

Overall we had a good experience at this hospital and I want to take this opportunity to highlight some things here. However one or two staff were unfriendly although they answered our questions and gave us directions. As part of the package we got consultation from one cardiac consultant cum dietitian and one senior cardiac consultant. Both the doctors were very friendly and also seemed to be experts in their fields. I would like to mention a name here, Dr. Muhammad Ismail Khan. He helped us a lot and was very cooperative.
