DHQ Teaching Hospital Gujranwala was inaugrated in 1925 by the then British Governor of Punjab, Sir Malcolm Hailey. Intiallly the hospital was built on an area of 500,00 square feet and later another 450,000 square feet were added to it. Today the hospital is a 450 beds health facility catering to over 5 million people every year. The hospital has a fully functional Trauma Centre equipped with latest medical equipment and trained staff providing 24/7 emergency services.
