Specialization: Aga Khan University School of Nursing & Midwifery – AKU-SONAM is the first academic department setup under the Aga Khan University in the year 1980. AKU-SONAM offers a number of undergraduate, graduate and post graduate programs for nursing and midwifery including Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Post-RN Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Post-RN Bachelor of Science in Midwifery, Master of Science in Nursing and PhD in Nursing. AKU-SONAM Outreach Program offers capacity-building of nurses, midwives, lady health visitors and other healthcare professionals from all across Pakistan. Office of Research & Innovation at AKU-SONAM is involved in a wide range of research projects at national and international levels. AKU-SONAM campus is located in the Aga Khan University Complex, Stadium Road, Karachi.
